Parks & Playgrounds

The County of Prince Edward is responsible for the maintenance of 180 acres of park land. These parks are open to the public and each park offers a variety of amenities. The County also maintains ball diamonds, tennis courts, and a soccer pitch. You can find more information about these facilities by viewing the information listed below for each location.

Our parks and facilities are available to be booked for private events. Parks should be booked for any formal activity or event to allow for coordination of park maintenance and services.

Parks

To book a park you must call 613-476-2148 ext. 4000 or email bookings@pecounty.on.ca to check availability. Once availability has been confirmed the Park Rental Agreement Form and $50.00 damage deposit fee must be brought to 115 Lake Street in Picton between 7am and 3:30pm (after hours can be taken to Shire Hall, 332 Main St. Picton, until 5:00pm). Once the form is received, your reservation will be booked into our system. Please note: Bookings are first come, first booked, and are not considered final until completed forms and payment have been received by The County.

Bloomfield

Mill Pond Park

Picton

Benson Park

Delhi Park

Amenities: Ball diamond (no lights), playground equipment (jungle gym and swings), green space and dog park

The Prince Edward County Dog Park is located in Delhi Park. This area was built and is maintained by The Prince Edward Dog Park Association which is a non-profit organization. The dog park has two free parking lots from which you can access the park. Lalor Street parking lot is located just off York Street. and is at the very end of Lalor Street. Mary Street Parking lot is just at the end of Elizabeth Street. The dog park is a large fenced in green space with a double gate entrance. Ball Diamonds

Once availability has been confirmed the ball diamond rental agreement form and $50.00 damage deposit must be brought to 115 Lake Street, Picton between 7am and 3:30pm (after hours can be taken to Shire Hall, 332 Main St. Picton, until 5pm) after which your reservation will be booked into our system. Please note: Bookings are first come, first booked, and are not considered final until both completed forms and payment has been received by The County. Individuals booking for teams/leagues must also bring in their season schedule (regular and tournaments) before your booking will be confirmed.

Picton Fairgrounds

There are two ball diamonds at the Picton Fairgrounds that both have lights and washrooms.

Wellington Baseball Park
170 Niles (corner of Niles and Belleville Streets), Wellington
Amenities: three baseball diamonds in Wellington with lights and washrooms. Wellington is home to the ‘field of dreams.’

Roblin Lake Park Diamond
38 Coleman Street, Ameliasburgh
Amenities: The ball diamond at Roblin Lake Park is one of The County’s busiest diamonds during the peak of baseball season. There is one diamond equipped with lights. 

Westfall Ball Park
2525 County Road 64 off Highway 33, Carrying Place
Amenities:There are two baseball diamonds with full lights at this location in Carrying place.

Tennis Courts

Benson Park

Amenities: There is one tennis court located at this location

Bloomfield

Amenities: The two tennis courts in Bloomfield have lights and are on until 10pm.

Wellington

North Marysburgh

Soccer Pitches

Johnson Street Soccer Fields

Amenities: There is a small parking lot on site and three fields. There is more parking across the road at the high school.
