The County has received an application for Minor Variance to facilitate the development of a single detached dwelling within the property located at 2784 County Road 3. The application proposes to vary Section 4.25.4 of the County of Prince Edward Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 1816-2006 to reduce the minimum setback requirement from a normal high water mark for a watercourse. The proposed dwelling will be setback 15 metres from the normal high water mark for a watercourse that traverses the property whereas Section 4.25.4 of the County’s Zoning By-Law requires buildings and structures to be located 30 metres from the normal high water mark for a watercourse.
