The County has received an application for Minor Variance pertaining to the property located at 431 Elmbrook Road in the Ward of Sophiasburgh. The applicant is seeking to develop a second dwelling unit on the subject property within 117 metres of an Extractive Industrial (MX) Zone. Through the proposed variance, the applicant is seeking relief from Section 4.26.3 of the County’s Zoning By-Law which requires dwelling units to be located at least 500 metres from the MX Zone.
