County Council will meet December 8-10 to consider the proposed 2022 capital budget for the municipality.
“Staff from across the organization have contributed to the development of this important document. The capital budget, once approved by Council, will allow staff to move forward on many projects early in 2022 in order to improve and strengthen roads, bridges, buildings, parks and other infrastructure that residents rely on every day,” says Marcia Wallace, Chief Administrative Officer.
Budget deliberations will kick off on Wednesday, December 8 at 6 pm with an introduction by CAO Wallace followed by an overview from Amanda Carter, Director of Finance. During the following two days, a more detailed discussion will take place before a final vote by Council to approve the capital budget.
