An Agricultural Advisory Committee meeting will be held on Monday, May 1 to discuss the new Provincial Planning Statement (PPS) and Bill 97: The Helping Homebuyers, Protecting Tenants Act.
Members of the County’s agricultural community are invited to attend the virtual meeting to share how Bill 97 and the PPS may impact them. The meeting will begin at 7 pm.
Those wishing to speak at this virtual meeting are asked to email the Clerk’s department at clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, May 1. Details on receiving a link to the meeting will be provided by staff via email to those who register to attend.
The meeting will provide Council with the opportunity to hear input from the local agricultural community and understand how Bill 97 and the PPS may affect agricultural practices in the County.
