Rehabilitation of the Burr Road Bridge will begin on Tuesday, August 22.
- The bridge is located approximately 2.5 km west of Highway 62. Click here to view the exact location.
- The bridge will remain closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for the duration of the work. A detour route will be established using Highway 62, County Road 2, and County Road 1.
- The bridge has deteriorated significantly and is in poor condition. County Council awarded the tender for the project on July 25 to Clearwater Structures Inc. Read the staff report for more details about the project.
- The County urges the public to exercise caution, respect work crews and equipment, and obey signage in the area.
