The Water and Wastewater Department will be working to conduct repairs as a result of a water service leak on Fenwood Crescent, Rossmore.
- Repairs will begin Thursday, January 18 at 9 am, with an expected completion time of 6 pm the same day.
- Fenwood Crescent will be reduced to one lane of traffic in the construction area at the west side of Fenwood Crescent between County Road 29 and Taylor Drive.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
- This work is not expected to impact water quality; however, municipal water customers on Fenwood Crescent between the western intersection of County Road 28 and Taylor Drive will experience an interruption to water service while work is taking place.
- Once service is restored, customers may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water. The water remains safe to drink throughout the duration of work.
- If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
