A special COVID-19 vaccine clinic to support front-line businesses will take place on Saturday, January 8 from 3-9 pm at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street, Picton).
Advance registration is required to attend this special clinic. To register, a business owner or representative must call 613.476.2148 extension 5003 or 5004 beginning on Tuesday, January 4 when County offices reopen. The business owner should be prepared to give the names of the staff who wish to attend the clinic and to highlight any staff who are under the age of 30, for the purposes of managing vaccine supply. The business will then be provided a one-hour time slot during which their workers can walk in and get the vaccine.
The clinic, hosted by the County of Prince Edward in partnership with Hastings Prince Edward Public Health and the Prince Edward Family Health Team, will offer first, second and booster doses to eligible workers in front-line businesses such as grocery stores, retailers, and restaurants.
People under the age of 30 will be offered the Pfizer vaccine. For people 30 and over, Moderna or Pfizer will be offered depending on the supply that day.
