Residents can share their thoughts on a recent pilot project that saw all landfill and transfer sites operate an additional day each week.
County landfill and transfer sites are open on Saturdays, with the exception of the Picton site, which is also open on Wednesdays. All seven sites were open on Wednesdays during August and September as part of a pilot project approved by Council in June 2020.
Staff are currently preparing a follow-up report to Council and welcome public feedback through an online survey. Hard copies of the survey are available for pick-up at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) as well as at the landfill/transfer sites.
