County seeks input on three parks

October 26, 2021

The County wants to hear from the public about improvements they would like to see in three parks.

The municipality is planning upgrades in three local parks: Benson Park (56 King Street, Picton), Jack Taylor Park (65/79 Station Road, Hillier), and Consecon Park (25 Porter Street, Consecon).

Staff will be on site at these parks on Saturday, October 30. Residents can chat with staff about the parks as well as offer feedback on park amenities and design.

  • Benson Park, 9 – 10:30 am
  • Jack Taylor Park, 11 am – 12:30 pm
  • Consecon Park, 1:30 – 3 pm

Feedback from the public will help inform design concepts that will be presented to the public for further input later this year. The work is tentatively scheduled to take place in the spring of 2022.

If you cannot visit the parks on October 30, you can also provide your feedback by emailing Lisa Lindsay, Director of Recreation and Community Facilities, at llindsay@pecounty.on.ca.

The County is responsible for maintaining 180 acres of parkland including a 46r-km linear trail and a community beach. These spaces are open to the public and each park offers a variety of amenities. Visit the County website to learn more about the parks, playgrounds and sports facilities.
