County seeks members for Water and Wastewater Rates Community Committee

March 12, 2024

The County is looking to attract a diverse range of dedicated community volunteers to serve on the Water and Wastewater Rates Community Committee.

This newly formed committee is suitable for someone with financial, legal, or engineering experience or someone who has knowledge of laws impacting infrastructure. We are looking for membership that will collectively represent the geography of the Municipal Drinking Water or Wastewater systems.

Committee members will have the opportunity to share their valuable expertise and perspectives to review current assets and identify future capital projects for the County’s water and wastewater systems. More information can be found by reading the Committee’s Terms of Reference.

Becoming a member of a citizen board/committee offers residents a unique chance to volunteer their highly valued skills and knowledge to strengthen our shared sense of community.

To be eligible to serve on a committee, applicants must be:

  • a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident living in Prince Edward County; or
  • a property or business owner in the County of Prince Edward;
