December 19 Council meeting rescheduled for January 9

As a safety precaution due to some members of Council and senior staff experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and the rise of COVID-19 cases in our municipality, the Regular Meeting of Council for Tuesday, December 19 has been rescheduled.

The meeting will now take place on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 7 pm.

All items scheduled for the December 19 Council agenda will be dealt with at the meeting on January 9. Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

  • A motion to reconsider Uride’s contract;
  • A staff report on the Trae Resorts planning application; and
  • The awarding of the tender for the Wellington Trunk Line.

Members of the public who were scheduled to make a deputation or Comment from the Audience at the December 19 meeting will still be permitted to speak to Council at the January 9 meeting. Your registration will be automatically included on the January 9, 2024, Council agenda.

Members of the public who wish to make a deputation or provide comments as “Comments from the Audience” are encouraged to contact clerks@pecounty.on.ca as soon as possible to register.
