Garbage bag tag relief program ends February 20

February 15, 2022

Residents are advised that bag tags will be required for all garbage bags placed at curbside for collection on or after February 21, 2022.

During the recent COVID-19 restrictions, the municipality allowed one un-tagged bag per household per week in an effort to reduce residents’ trips outside the home. This program will come to an end on February 20, aligning with updated public health measures from the Province.
