Contractors retained by the municipality will be conducting a geotechnical investigation along Mortimer Street in Picton on Friday, December 10.
- This work is to support replacement of signage infrastructure.
- The work will include drilling boreholes in the vicinity of Mortimer Street to understand the subsurface conditions.
- An additional borehole will be advanced along York Street to assess the subsurface conditions in that area. Minor traffic disruptions are expected along Mortimer Street and parking spaces along Bridge Street immediately next to Mortimer will be unavailable.
- A portion of Delhi Park along York Street will also be cordoned off to facilitate the work.
