April 11, 2023
All residents are invited to dispose of their household hazardous and electronic waste at mobile events held throughout the year in April, June, August and October.
- Quinte Waste Solutions has published the 2023 calendar for hazardous and electronic waste disposal events.
- The first event in Prince Edward County will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 75 County Road 1 (Sandy Hook Road), Picton.
- Residents can drop hazardous and electronic waste free of charge from 9 am – 2 pm.
- Household hazardous and electronic waste can be found in almost every room of your home. These products, if thrown in the garbage or poured down the drain, can have negative effects on the environment including an impact on groundwater and surface water such as creeks, rivers, and lakes.
