Household hazardous waste drop-off event June 12 in Picton

June 12, 2021

Do you have hazardous waste lying around the house?

Get rid of the items on Saturday, June 12 during the free household hazardous waste drop-off mobile event at the Picton landfill and transfer station (75 County Road 1). The event will take place from 9 am – 2 pm.

Household hazardous waste can be found in almost every room of your home. These products, if thrown in the garbage or poured down the drain, can have negative effects on the environment including an impact on groundwater and surface water such as creeks, rivers, and lakes.
