Election day for the 2022 municipal and school board elections is TODAY, Monday, October 24 from 10 am to 8 pm. Every vote counts; make your voice heard for our County, with your vote.
Vote online or in-person: Eligible voters have two ways of casting their ballot in the election. Voters have the option of voting via Internet or by casting paper ballots in-person at a designated voting location within the County.
Visit the County’s website for a list of the voting locations available for each ward. In-person voting is ward-specific and you must vote at your assigned voting location. Voters who show up at the incorrect voting location will be redirected.
If you choose to vote in-person, please remember to bring the following:
- Your Voter Notification Card
- Proof of identity and qualifying address
Electors can confirm their voting location by visiting the County’s online interactive ward map or by checking their Voter Notification Card.
“The County’s election team will be working diligently to ensure the voting process is as smooth as possible for voters,” says Clerk Catalina Blumenberg. “Showing kindness and patience towards elections officials will help make the voting process easier for everyone.”
Free transit for voters
The County has partnered with Quinte Transit to offer free public transit to all electors on election day, Monday, October 24.
The free transit service will bring you to and from any voting location in the County. You must book your ride in advance to access the service. Once you have confirmed your voting location, refer to the transit schedule for that location and then book your free transit ride by contacting County Transit at 613.392.9640 or by visiting countytransit.ca.
