Increased activity expected on Millennium Trail June 1

A higher than usual number of powered vehicles are expected on the Millennium Trail on Saturday, June 1.

The second annual all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and side-by-side (SxS) vehicle charity poker run will be held on the trail from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in support of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital “Back the Build,” The ROC Youth Services, and the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program.

The route will begin at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) and onto Millennium Trail to Monarch Point and back.

All trail users are reminded to respect the posted speed limits and adhere to rules outlined in the Millennium Trail by-law.

Trail users are asked to exercise additional caution if on the trail on June 1.
