Info session for Elks Street reconstruction scheduled for July 7

June 30, 2021

The County is hosting a public information centre (PIC) for the upcoming reconstruction project on Elks Street between York Street and Union in Picton.

The virtual PIC will take place on Wednesday, July 7 beginning at 7 pm.

The reconstruction project is scheduled to get underway in August 2021. Work is expected to continue through the fall of 2021.

At the PIC, Garrett Osborne, Project Manager with the County, and Matthew McIntosh, Project Manager with The Greer Galloway Group, will provide further details about the project, the work being undertaken, and the plans for detouring traffic during the reconstruction.

The PIC will be conducted virtually due to COVID-19 protocols. The County will stream the session live on its YouTube channel. A recording of the PIC will be available following the meeting.

Submit questions in advance to gosborne@pecounty.on.ca. Questions following the meeting can be sent to the address above and the municipality will respond directly.
