A piece of equipment on the newly installed playground located at Macaulay Heritage Park / London Avenue has been temporarily removed.
The spring toy play feature has been intentionally damaged. The equipment will be reinstalled when the County receives replacement parts from the manufacturer.
The municipality is asking any residents who may have witnessed this vandalism or may have any information that will help identify the vandals to call the O.P.P. non-emergency line at 1-888-310-1122.
The cost to repair the damage is estimated to be $600.
