Make sure you are on the voters list

August 4, 2022

There’s still time to ensure you’re on the voters list for the 2022 municipal and school board elections.

Residents and taxpayers can access the Voterlookup.ca tool provided by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) to ensure they are on voters list. The final day to use Voterlookup.ca is Friday, August 12.

It is the responsibility of every elector to make sure their information is up to date and accurately reflected for electoral purposes. By logging into Voterlookup.ca, eligible electors can:

  • Confirm or update their electoral information
  • Add an elector name to an address
  • Change school support for the purpose of voting in a school board election

If you are a resident, owner or tenant of property in Prince Edward County, a Canadian citizen, and 18 years of age, you are entitled to vote in the municipal and school board elections. The next municipal election will be held on October 24, 2022.

Information for voters, potential candidates, third-party advertisers, as well as information about previous elections can be found on the County’s website. Electors can visit this site to learn about the upcoming election, who is running, and how to participate.

For more information contact the County of Prince Edward Elections Team at 613.476.2148 extension 1021 or 1026 or email elections@pecounty.on.ca.
