The Ministry of Long-Term Care (MLTC) has launched a public consultation related to the development of a new H.J. McFarland Memorial Home.
In June 2019, the Honourable Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health and Long Term Care, announced the allocation of 76 new long-term care beds to be added to the 84 existing ones currently in operation at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home. The additional beds would become part of the new, expanded 160-bed long-term care home at the same location in Picton.
Prior to moving on to the next phase of the redevelopment project, MLTC will consider the input from the public. If you have comments or opinions and would like to bring them to the attention of the MLTC, you may submit them in writing by November 9, 2020 by:
- Sending an email at LTCHomes.Licensing@ontario.ca; or
