A higher than usual number of cyclists are expected on County roads on Saturday, August 19 for the Pedaling for Parkinson’s ride.
Motorists are asked to take caution. When passing a cyclist, drivers must maintain a minimum distance of one metre between their vehicle and the cyclist, where it is practical to do so.
The bike rally is expected to depart at 8 am, beginning and ending at the North Marysburgh Town Hall. Riders will be travelling 40 km and 76 km routes throughout the County.
The 40 km route will follow County Road 8 to Prinyers Cove Crescent, County Road 7, County Road 25 and back onto County Road 8.
The 76 km route will follow County Road 8 to Prinyers Cove Crescent, County Road 7, County Road 25, County Road 8, County Road 17, Bond Road, County Road 10, Old Milford Road, McKinley Crossroads, County Road 17, Lucks Crossroads and back on to County Road 8.
