The final work to complete the reconstruction of Picton Main Street between Bridge Street and Johnson Street will begin on Monday, April 17.
The following work will be done over the next three weeks:
- Installation of new street lights
- Landscaping
- Deficiency repairs
- Clean-up of the construction work
The work may cause minor disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
As part of the 2023 capital budget, Council approved the reconstruction of Picton Main Street from Johnson Street to Spencer Street. That work is scheduled to take place during summer and fall 2023. More details on this project will be released later this spring.
