The Water and Wastewater Department will be working with contractors on Monday, October 26 to relocate a water service connection on Diverbelt Drive in Picton.
- Work will begin on Monday, October 26 at approximately 8 am, with an expected completion time of 11 am the same day.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
- These repairs are not expected to impact water quality; however, residents on Diverbelt Drive will experience a temporary water service interruption while work is taking place between approximately 9 am and 10 am. The water remains safe to drink when service is restored.
- If coloured water is experienced when water service is restored, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once work is complete.
