On Wednesday, January 24, the Planning and Development Committee will hold a meeting pursuant to Sections 34, 51 & 53 of the Planning Act.

A combined statutory public meeting and decision meeting will take place for the following applications:

  • Draft Plan of Subdivision File No.: 13-T-22-501 & Z1-22 – 2798640 Ontario Inc. (o/a Lakeside Estates) – Lakeside Drive and Loyalist Parkway – Part Lots 105 & 106 Concession 4 being Part 1 47R9004; Ward 4 (Ameliasburgh) – To develop a subdivision containing 29 single family homes and 4 semi-detached homes with rezoning to permit same.   • Zoning File No.: Z21-23 – Trevor Murphy & Sophia Zettler – 224 Snider Road – Part Lot 97 Concession 2 Part 1 47R4672; Ward 4 (Ameliasburgh) – To rezone the property from Rural to Rural Residential to permit the operation of a Short Term Accommodation within the property. The meeting will take place at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) beginning at 7 pm.

The public is invited to participate either in-person, virtually, or through written comments submitted to the respective planner prior to the meeting.

Members of the public who wish to speak at the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, can register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Tuesday, December 12. Upon registering to speak at the meeting, members of the public will be emailed instructions on attending the meeting in person or a unique link and directions for participating in the meeting via Zoom.
