Public information meeting March 6 for development proposal at 3038 County Road 3 (Ameliasburgh Ward)

February 9, 2024

February 9, 2024

A public information meeting for a development proposal at 3038 County Road 3 will take place at the Ameliasburgh Town Hall (13 Coleman Street) on Wednesday, March 6 at 6 pm.

The County has received an application from Salvatore and Lia Grosso for a Zoning By-law Amendment (File Number Z14-23). The lands are located at 3038 County Road 3, within the Ward of Ameliasburgh.

The application would result in the property owners receiving permission to convert an existing barn so that it can operate as an event venue.

Members of the public who wish to attend the meeting are asked to register by contacting Matthew Coffey, Planning Approvals, Coordinator, at mcoffey@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, March 4. If you have any questions regarding the location or format of the public meeting please contact Mr. Coffey.

Materials for the application can be viewed on the County website.

This public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the updated planning application process.

At a public information meeting, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant.

The statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.
