Two full night closures of the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge will take place during the week of December 19.

December 19 – 20 overnight closure:

  • A full night closure of the bridge will take place from 9 pm on Monday, December 19 until 6 am on Tuesday, December 20.
  • The closure is intended for the installation of the south abutment expansion joint.

December 21 – 22 overnight closure:

  • A full night closure of the bridge will take place from 9 pm on Wednesday, December 21 until 6 am on Thursday, December 22.
  • This closure is intended for the implementation of staging for Segment E work, which will consist of relocating temporary concrete barriers, temporary energy attenuators, placing temporary pavement markings and flipping traffic to the west side of the bridge.

No traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge during the above closures. Please refer to the Glenora Ferry website for more information about using this service as an alternative route. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit the project website.
