The County seeks input on Wellington Beach

February 16, 2021

The County of Prince Edward is seeking resident input on the operation of Wellington Beach to inform recommendations to Council as part of the Tourism Management Plan.

The survey can be found on the Tourism Management Plan project page on HaveYourSay.TheCounty.ca. It will remain open until February 26, 2021.

The survey requests input from residents on their level of beach use, their views on existing and needed amenities and preferred options for operating the beach.

At the direction of Council, municipal staff are developing a Tourism Management Plan to help address the challenges that result from summer visitors to Prince Edward County. Staff are currently refining the plan based on feedback from Council, with a greater focus on benefits to residents in areas such as municipal beaches, boat launches and bulk water hauling.

The survey, plus information about the Tourism Management Plan, can be found at haveyoursay.thecounty.ca/tourism-management-plan-2.
