Undergraduate students of the University of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty of Architecture contributed their design and construction skills for the development a new entry kiosk at Wellington Rotary Beach.
The students presented their design to members of the Wellington Rotary Club and County staff last week for approval.
The Wellington Rotary Club, Wellington Home Hardware and the Wellington District Business Association supported the build of the entry kiosk, and County staff provided the materials and supplies.
With the support of the program facilitator, the construction of the kiosk based on the design took place earlier this week. The kiosk was put on-site on Thursday, July 28 and finishing touches were completed in advance of the Friday afternoon ribbon cutting ceremony.
