Updated detour route for Picton Main Street reconstruction November 24

November 22, 2022

A revised detour route for the Picton Main Street reconstruction project will be in place on Thursday, November 24.

Picton Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Paul Street and Johnson Street from 7 am until 5 pm.

The detour is required in order for the contractor to install asphalt pavement on Picton Main Street between Paul Street and Johnson Street.

Southbound traffic will be directed to detour around the closure using McFarland Drive, Macsteven Drive, Johnson Street, Queen Street, and Paul Street.

Northbound traffic will be directed to detour around the closure using Paul Street, Jane Street, Johnson Street, MacSteven Drive, and McFarland Drive.

Local property access along Picton Main Street between McFarland Drive and Johnson Street will be maintained during the detour.
