Virtual public meeting for rezoning application (12 Lake Street, Picton) on June 16

June 3, 2022

A virtual public information meeting will take place on Thursday, June 16 at 7 pm for the planning applications SP-04-22 and Z12-22 (Keros Corporation).

An application for a Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control has been submitted for a proposed 12-unit rental apartment building at 13 Lake Street in Picton.

Members of the public who wish to attend the virtual public meeting must register by contacting James Griffin, Intermediate Planner, at jgriffin@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Wednesday, June 15. The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions regarding accessing Microsoft Teams, please contact Mr. Griffinat the email address above.

New Planning Application Process

This public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the updated planning application process approved in 2021.

At a public information meeting, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant.

The statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.
