A virtual public meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 8 at 7 pm regarding the planning applications 13-T-21-502, OPA-03-21 and Z7-21 (Cressy Bayside Estates).
The County has received applications for Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment, and Zoning By-law Amendment for a residential development.
Through Draft Plan of Subdivision File No. 13-T-21-502, the applicant is proposing to create 8 residential lots and 1 block for a private Common Element Condominium road for the new residential lots to gain access to County Road 7.
Through Official Plan Amendment File No. OPA-03-21, the applicant is proposing to amend the Official Plan to change the designation of a portion of the subject lands from “Aggregate” to “Shoreland” as the subject lands were formerly an aggregate pit that was last licensed in 2008.
The subject lands are currently zoned the Rural 1 (RU1) Zone, Extractive Industrial (MX) Zone and Environmental Protection (EP) Zone. Through the approval of Zoning File No. Z7-21, the proposed new lots are proposed to be zoned the Special Limited Service Residential (LSR-XX) Zone and Special Open Space (OS-XX) Zone. All Environmental Protection (EP) Zones will remain.
Members of the public who wish to attend the virtual public meeting must register by contacting jgriffin@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, September 6. The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions regarding accessing Microsoft Teams, please contact James Griffin at the email address above.
Materials for each of the above applications can also be viewed on The County’s website.
New Planning Application Process:
