Contractors will be completing ground water sampling of underground wells on Picton Main Street between Bridge Street and Spencer Street November 30 and December 1.
- Work will take place between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm.
- Main Street will remain open; however, the work will result in minor traffic disruptions and lane restrictions in the area.
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the installation. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.

The County has initiated this work to help plan for the reconstruction of this section of Picton Main Street. The reconstruction project is expected to begin in the Spring of 2022. More information will be shared with the public when it becomes available.
