Water service interruption on Hennessey Street (Rossmore) November 30

November 28, 2023

November 28, 2023

The Water and Wastewater Department will be assisting with the connection of a new portion of watermain to the existing drinking water system on Hennessey Street in Rossmore.

  • Work will begin Thursday, November 30 at approximately 9 am, with an expected completion time of 6 pm the same day.
  • Work will take place at the end of Hennessey Street. No traffic disruptions are anticipated.
  • Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
  • This work is not expected to impact water quality; however, municipal water customers located on Hennessey Street will experience an interruption to water service while work is taking place. Once service is restored, customers may experience intermittent pressure fluctuations and coloured water. The water remains safe to drink throughout the duration of work.
  • If coloured water is experienced, customers are encouraged to flush their water lines at the cold water tap nearest to the water meter once water service is restored.
  • For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 ext. 1023, 613.962.9108 ext. 1023, or info@pecounty.on.ca.
