SUMMARY:REVEL: Celebrating Diversity in PEC
DESCRIPTION:REVEL is a one-day festival held at Macaulay Heritage Park. The event incorporates music\, food\, culture and community\, and admission to the grounds will be FREE for all. It falls between National Indigenous Peoples Day and Canadian Multiculturalism Day\, during Pride month\, and provides an opportunity to celebrate all of these things – and just have some fun!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDavid R. Maracle kicks off the music at 1pm\, and will be followed by some incredible acts on our Stone Room stage!\n\n\n\nBaxter Arts Centre and The Department of Illumination bring the fun\, with some fabulous family-friendly programming.\n\n\n\nThere will be a number of informative presentations in Macaulay Church focusing on Indigenous ways of knowing. (Free registration details coming soon.)\n\n\n\nOver a dozen local organizations will join us in our community partners tent to share more about what they do!\n\n\n\n\n\nVisit the beer garden provided by 555 Brewing Company or fill up at the food trucks including Kaleidoscope Catering\, Stone Temple Coffee and The Wafel House.\n\n\n\n\nFor those who cannot join us at Macaulay Heritage Park on June 25\, the concerts will be live streamed by the Regent Theatre on the 99.3 County FM website!\n\n\n\n\nKeep an eye on The County Museums Facebook page here for more details on the day’s schedule.\n\nMusicians:\nDavid R.
