This pilot project celebrates a variety of commemorative days and periods: \n\nJune 27 – Canadian Multiculturalism Day – multiple colours in rotation\nJune 28 – Indigenous History Month – orange\nJune 29 – Pride Month – rainbow colours in rotation\nJune 30 and July 1 – Canada Day – white and red\n\nCheck out the town halls in the towns\, villages and hamlets of The County including Picton\, Wellington\, Bloomfield\, Ameliasburgh\, Hillier\, North Marysburgh\, South Marysburgh\, Athol and Sophiasburgh. \n

DESCRIPTION:The County of Prince Edward and the Cemetery Advisory Committee invite the media and public to attend the grand opening of the Sophiasburgh Columbarium. \nThe columbarium is now available for the interment of cremated remains. Each of the 48 individual compartments — niches — can hold two urns and a few small personal mementos. Inscriptions\, names and dates are engraved onto bronze plaques and installed onto the niche covers. Learn more
