SUMMARY:Tens of East Lake/Allswell Resort Public Information Meeting
DESCRIPTION:A public information meeting will take place for the planning application Z2-23. \nThe County has received from the developer a revised application for a Zoning By-law Amendment to permit redevelopment of 41 Willow Lane in Athol Ward. The application would amend the existing Special Tourist Commercial (TC-19) Zone to permit the following uses: \n\n12 tourist cabins\n1 tourist inn with 10 bedrooms\nNon-motorized boat rentals\, docks\, and boat launch\nA gift shop\nA mobile restaurant\nA resort establishment with a maximum of 100 additional guests\nAccessory uses including a pool\, bar\, and washrooms\n\nThe application would also recognize the existing lot frontage and locations of existing buildings that will remain on site. \nMaterials for the applications can be viewed on the County’s website. \nThis public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the planning application process. At a public information meeting\, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments\, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant. \nThe statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning and Development Committee meeting.
