DESCRIPTION:County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Monday\, September 2 for Labour Day. \nOffices will reopen on Tuesday\, September 3 at 8:30 am. \nGarbage and recycling collection \n\nCurbside garbage\, green bin\, and recycling pickup service will occur according to the regular schedule.\nEnvironmental 360 Solutions and Quinte Waste Services remind residents to have their garbage\, green bin\, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. Click here to view the recycling and garbage collection schedules.\nThe County’s landfill and transfer stations will be open regular hours on Saturday\, August 31. Visit The County website for more information.\n\nRecreation Facilities \nThe Wellington and District Community Centre will be closed from Saturday\, August 31 to Monday\, September 2 for scheduled maintenance. The facility will reopen on Tuesday\, September 3. \nThe Prince Edward Community Centre will be closed on Monday\, September 2. \nThe walking track at the Wellington and District Community Centre (WDCC) will reopen on Tuesday\, September 3 at 7 am. \nReminder: The walking track at the WDCC is currently operating on its summer schedule of Monday- Friday\, 7 am – 3 pm. \n  \nCounty Transit \nCounty Transit will not be in operation. \n  \nAfter-hour inquiries \nFor urgent after-hours municipal inquiries\, please call: \n\n476.6505 for road emergencies\n967.8777 for water or sewer emergencies\n\n  \n
