SUMMARY:Open House and BBQ- Fire Prevention Week 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Prince Edward County Fire Department is hosting a series of events in support of this year’s Fire Prevention Week\, including an Open House and BBQ (hotdogs) on Saturday\, October 12 from 11 am to 2 pm at the following Fire Stations:  \n\n8 McDonald Drive (Picton) \n\n\n126 County Road 32 (Hallowell) \n\n\n3080 County Road 10 (Milford) \n\n\n2771 County Road 5 (Sophiasburgh) \n\n\n14 County Road 29 (Consecon) \n\n\n219 County Road 3 (Rossmore) \n\nThe Prince Edward County Fire Department will conduct a door-to-door campaign between October 6 and 12 in the evening to inform the public about the importance of working smoke alarms in the home. Having working smoke alarms and a plan to help you escape is the best chance to keep you and your family safe in the event of a fire\, it’s also the law.   \nTest your smoke alarms at least once a month to ensure they work.
