DESCRIPTION:Quinte Waste Solutions will be collecting dead\, intact household batteries with your blue box. \nProper disposal: \nStep 1: Gather up dead\, intact household batteries including AA\, AAA\, C\, D\, 9V\, 6V\, & button cell batteries\, placing a small piece of masking tape on exposed terminals of 9V\, 6V\, and button cells. Place all of your batteries inside a clear re-sealable bag. \nStep 2: Seal the bag of batteries and place them ON TOP of your papers blue box. We collect your batteries on the dates corresponding with your regular collection day(s). \nCurbside battery collection takes place the following weeks: \nMarch 11- 22\, and November 4-15

DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE: The November rental housing workshops have been cancelled. If you have questions\, please contact housinghelp@pecounty.on.ca \nThe County of Prince Edward is excited to present a series of six free workshops on the topic of rental housing. \nThere will be three sessions for tenants and three sessions for property owners. \n“Our hope is to increase the capacity of both tenants and property owners to understand their rights and how they can ensure successful tenancies\,” said Elis Ziegler\, Affordable Housing Supervisor.  “The municipality understands that this community faces affordable housing challenges.
