DESCRIPTION:A series of conversations will take place in early April to help shape a community movement to address poverty in Prince Edward County. \nGroups\, associations\, and individuals are welcome to attend any of these conversations: \n\nMonday\, April 7:\n – Sophiasburgh Town Hall (2771 County Road 5\, Demorestville) at 2 pm\n– Rotary Hall – Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) at 5 pm\nTuesday\, April 8:\n– Wellington and District Community Centre – Highline Hall (111 Belleville\nStreet\, Wellington) at 9 am\n– Ameliasburgh Town Hall (13 Coleman Street\, Ameliasburgh) at 2 pm\n\nAnyone interested in attending any of these community conversations is encouraged to RSVP. Click here to RSVP. \nAs part of the Community Safety and Well-Being Plan\, the Poverty Reduction Steering Committee is working toward a community-wide poverty reduction strategy for Prince Edward County. This strategic approach will aim to reduce or eliminate poverty in the area through collaboration and building on existing community strengths.
