SUMMARY:Public Virtual Workshop: Help shape the future of transit in Prince Edward County
DESCRIPTION:Photo by: Jacob Côté Photography \nPrince Edward County is refreshing its transit strategy\, and the public is invited to provide input. \nJoin staff of the municipality for an interactive\, online workshop on Thursday\, July 3 from 7 pm to 9 pm to explore ideas and possibilities for the future of County Transit. The workshop will be held on Microsoft Teams. Please register in advance for the meeting link by clicking here. \nThis is a chance for the public to help shape a system that works better for everyone who lives\, works and travels in Prince Edward County. \nDuring the session\, participants will learn about three potential transit scenarios developed by the transit experts at Left Turn Right Turn. These ideas are based on: \n\nA deep dive into our current transit system\nFeedback already received from nearly 200 residents and local businesses through surveys\, focus groups and interviews\nTransit lessons learned in other rural communities like ours.\n\nFeedback received during this session will help guide the next phase of strategy development.
