DESCRIPTION:Mayor Steve Ferguson and Council invite you and your family to celebrate the traditions of the New Year at the Winter Family Fun Day and New Year’s Levee on Sunday\, January 4\, 2026. \n\nThe celebration will take place from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street).\nFun for the entire family! There will be indoor and outdoor activities (dress warmly)\, treats and hot beverages\, free public skating\, children’s activities and more.\nThe event schedule includes:\n\n1 pm – Doors open\n1:15 pm – Mayor’s New Year’s Levee Speech\n1:30 – 3:30 pm – Festivities and reception with a variety of activities:\n\nDecorate a cookie\nCreate a pinecone bird feeder\nExpress your creativity through colouring pages\nBrowse the local history displays from The County Museums and the Prince Edward County Heritage Conservancy\nExplore a fire truck\, take photos\, and learn more about fire prevention with Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue\nSkate for free from 12:30 pm to 2 pm\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact Joy McLeod\, Executive Assistant to Mayor Ferguson\, at 613.242.3025 or email jmcleod@pecounty.on.ca.
