DESCRIPTION:The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Friday\, April 3 and Monday\, April 6 for the Easter holiday. \nOffices will reopen on Tuesday\, April 7 at 8:30 am. \nGarbage and recycling collection \nGarbage\, green bin and recycling collection will follow a temporary schedule for the week of March 30. \nThere will be no collection on Friday\, April 3. Regular collection will return on Monday\, April 6. \nPlease find your regular collection date on the left and the corresponding temporary collection date on the right. View the temporary collection schedule. \n\n\n\nIf your regular collection date is:\nYour temporary collection  \nday will be:\n\n\nTuesday\, March 31\nMonday\, March 30\n\n\nWednesday\, April 1\nTuesday\, March 31\n\n\nThursday\, April 2\nWednesday\, April 1\n\n\nFriday\, April 3\nThursday\, April 2\n\n\n\nResidents must have their garbage\, green bin\, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. If your recycling collection is missed on collection day\, please call 1.866.358.3560. If your garbage collection is missed\, call 613.476.2148 extension 1023. Visit https://e360s.ca/service-updates/ for information on delays or changes in collection schedules. \nGarbage bags must be tightly sealed and weigh no more than 40lbs when filled. All bags must have a visible tag. To review the Waste Management By-law\, please click here. \n  \nLandfill and transfer stations \nThe landfill and transfer stations’ operating hours will run as scheduled Saturday\, April 4. \nClick here for each landfill and transfer station’s operating hours. \n  \nRecreation Centres \nThe Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) and the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street) will be closed on Friday\, April 3 and Monday\, April 6. Both community centres will operate 7 am – 4 pm on Sunday\, April 5. \nPublic skating is available over the holiday weekend: \nPrince Edward Community Centre: \nSaturday\, April 4: 6 pm – 8 pm \nSunday\, April 5: 12:30 pm – 2 pm \nWellington and District Community Centre: \nSaturday\, April 4: 12:30 pm – 2 pm \nSunday\, April 5: 8 am – 9 am \n  \nThe walking track at the Wellington and District Community Centre will reopen as per the regular schedule of 8 am – 8 pm on Tuesday\, April 7. \nClick here to view the full schedule including Adult and Parent + Tot public skating\, ticket ice and shinny. Children 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are not mandatory but are recommended. \nIf you are interested in renting the ice\, call 613.476.2148 extension 5003 or email bookings@pecounty.on.ca. \n  \nThe County Museums \nThe County Museums will be closed Friday\, April 3 and Sunday\, April 5. \nVisit us on Saturday\, April 4 for the Easter Egg Hunt at Ameliasburgh Heritage Village (517 County Road 19\, Ameliasburgh). The event is hosted in partnership with the Ameliasburgh Recreation Committee and will take place from 12 pm to 1:30 pm. \n\n12:15 pm: The egg hunt will begin\, ending when all eggs are found.\n12 pm – 1:30 pm: Visit from Easter Bunny *please bring your own camera for photos\nThe Ameliasburgh Heritage Village museum buildings will not be open during this event\, however; bathrooms will be open for public use.\n\nCounty Transit \nCounty Transit will not operate on Friday\, April 3.
