SUMMARY:Virtual Public Meeting for 7 Acre Subdivision
DESCRIPTION:A virtual public information meeting will take place on Wednesday\, March 29th at 6 pm for the planning applications 13-T-22-502 & Z30-22. \nThe County has received applications for a draft plan of subdivision and zoning by-law amendment for a subdivision along adjacent to the existing West Meadows Subdivision in the Ward of Bloomfield/Hallowell. The applications would result in an extension of the West Meadows subdivision and permit the develop of 15 single detached lots and 43 townhouse units. \nMembers of the public who wish to attend the virtual public meeting must register by contacting mcoffey@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday\, March 17\, 2023.  The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions regarding accessing Microsoft Teams please contact Matt Coffey (see email above). \nMaterials for each of the above applications can be viewed on The County’s website.at the following link: \n13-T-22-502 & Z30-22 (7 Acres) – Prince Edward County Municipal Services (thecounty.ca)  \nNew Planning Application Process \nThis public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the updated planning application process approved in 2021. \nAt a public information meeting\, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments\, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant. \nThe statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.

SUMMARY:Zoning By-law Open House
DESCRIPTION:The first public open house for the Comprehensive Zoning By-law review project is scheduled for Wednesday\, March 29. \nThe public open house is an opportunity for all members of the community to be involved in the Zoning By-law Review and provide preliminary input. This will be the first of several open house and public meetings that will be held in locations across the County in the coming months. \nThe public open house will include: \n\nA brief presentation by the County’s project consultant\, WSP\, including an overview of the Zoning By-law Review project\, work plan\, and summary of the draft discussion paper prepared for the project.
