SUMMARY:Public Information Centre: Outlet Bridge rehabilitation
DESCRIPTION:The County of Prince Edward will share more details about the rehabilitation of the Outlet Bridge at a public information centre (PIC) on Thursday\, April 23. \nThe PIC will take place from 6 – 8 pm at the Athol Town Hall (1685 County Road 10\, Cherry Valley). \nThe PIC will consist of a drop-in format with displays showing the recommended plan for the bridge rehabilitation.  County staff and the project consultant will be on hand to answer any questions. \nCounty Council approved the project as part of the 2026 tax-supported capital budget. A minimum of one lane of traffic is anticipated to be maintained throughout the duration of the work. \nFor more information\, please contact Garrett Osborne\, Project Manager\, at 613.476.2148 extension 2002 or email gosborne@pecounty.on.ca.

SUMMARY:County Commons Co-Working: Speaker Series
DESCRIPTION:Drop in from 12 pm – 1 pm to listen to our guest speaker -no registration required! \nSpeaker: Mike Trites\, In the Key of Blue\nPlaywright and director Mike Trites joins us to share the remarkable story of how his new musical\, In the Key of Blue\, went from an idea he started writing in 2017 to a full-scale production premiering in Prince Edward County in July 2026. Featuring the iconic music of Blue Rodeo\, the show follows a young musician chasing fame while navigating the highs and lows of trust\, ambition\, and reinvention — all set to some of Canada’s most beloved songs. Whether you’re a creative entrepreneur\, a collaborator looking to build something new\, or someone curious about how big ideas become real\, Mike’s behind the scenes look at launching an original Canadian musical will be inspiring\, candid\, and full of hard won insights. \nFor more information on the Speaker Series\, click here. \nIf you have any questions or want to get involved\, please contact Karen Palmer at kpalmer@pecounty.on.ca or 613.242.6476.
