PEC Summer Pass Registration

Complete the form below to register for the PEC Summer Pass program. If you register online, your pass will be mailed to you. A $5 fee for shipping and handling will apply. You cannot pick up your pass in person if you apply online. If you prefer to register and pick up your pass in person, visit Shire Hall during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm) or view the Summer Hub website (thecounty.ca/summer-hub) for the schedule of in-person registration dates in Wellington and Consecon.

In order to complete this application you will require:

The licence plate number and vehicle make for all vehicles you would like to register.
Proof that you are a resident or taxpayer in Prince Edward County. (Valid photo ID with your name and County mailing address on it, or a water bill, property tax bill or lease agreement with your name and address on it coupled with valid photo ID.) You will be required to upload a copy of these documents.
If you are requesting two passes, you must upload proof that the two vehicles you are registering belong to the same household. The most common forms of proof are insurance or ownership documents.

2022 passes remain valid in 2023! You should re-use your pass if you still have it. DO NOT register for a new pass if you have your 2022 pass and the licence plate and vehicle make on the pass still matches your current vehicle.

Eligibility requirements(Required)

I meet the eligibility requirements for obtaining a PEC Summer Pass. I rent or own a property in Prince Edward County and can provide proof of this through a valid piece of photo ID and/or a County property tax or water bill with my name on it, or a lease agreement with my name on it.

Valid for Wellington Rotary Beach admission(Required)

I understand that the PEC Summer Pass provides free admission to me and members of my party at Wellington Rotary Beach when the beach gates are managed and admission fees are charged (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in July and August only). The Pass provides free admission to anyone in my vehicle or arriving with me on foot or bike. The pass does not guarantee admission if the beach is at capacity when I arrive.

Valid for Bakker/Huyck's parking privileges(Required)

I understand that the PEC Summer Pass permits me to park my vehicle in designated parking spaces at the ends of Bakker Road and Huyck's Point Road (County Road 20). The designated spaces will have signs that identify them as parking spaces for PEC Summer Passholders. Like all parking spaces, parking availability is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis..

No other privileges(Required)

I understand that the PEC Summer Pass comes with no privileges other than free admission to Wellington Rotary Beach and parking in designated PEC Summer Pass spaces at Bakker Road and Huyck's Point Road.

Must park in designated spaces to avoid a ticket(Required)

I understand that I may receive a parking ticket of $100 if I park my vehicle in no-parking areas that are not designated for PEC Summer Pass holders on Bakker Road and Huyck's Point Road.

Must display a valid pass to avoid a ticket(Required)

I understand that when parked in a space designated for PEC Summer Passholders, I must display my valid pass on my dashboard or on my rearview mirror so that the make and licence plate number are visible. My licence plate number and vehicle make must match the information on my pass. Failure to display my valid pass in this way may result in a $100 fine.

Non-Transferrable(Required)

I understand that my pass is not transferrable. I am obtaining this pass for my personal use and the personal use of members of my household/family. I understand that this pass is not to be used for commercial purposes. Misuse of my PEC Summer Pass may result in revocation of my pass.

Pass Information

What type of pass do I need?

You may request one of two types of PEC Summer Passes.

1. A standard pass will have your vehicle make and licence plate listed on it. This is good for parking in designated spaces on Huyck's Point Road, Bakker Road AND it is good for free access to Wellington Rotary Beach whether you drive or walk in. Each household may claim up to 2 standard passes, each of which will be tied to a different licence plate. If you are registering for two standard passes, you must upload proof that these vehicles are owned by the same household. The most common forms of proof are insurance or vehicle ownership documents.

2. A walk-in pass is not tied to a vehicle and is intended for residents/taxpayers who DO NOT HAVE A VEHICLE. This allows residents to enjoy walk-in/bike-in access to Wellington Rotary Beach without having to supply a vehicle licence plate number. Each household may have one walk-in pass, which will be tied to the last name on this registration form. If you require multiple walk-in passes for individuals in your household with different last names, please speak to County staff at 613.476.2148 extension 1023 or email info@pecounty.on.ca.

You may not request both a walk-in and standard pass. Standard passes are also good for walk-in use. If you register for both a walk-in and standard pass, you will be issued only a standard pass.

How many PEC Summer Passes do you need? You may request up to two passes per household.(Required)

Pass #2 -Will this pass be used ONLY for WALK-IN use of Wellington Rotary Beach? If so, you will be issued a "walk-in" pass that cannot be used for parking.(Required)

We will write this licence plate number on the pass. The pass is ONLY valid for parking if the licence plate on the vehicle matches the plate number on the pass.
