Electric Vehicle Chargers
The municipality owns and operates three Level 2 electric vehicle chargers, as well as two new Level 3 DCFC chargers, all available for public use at the following locations:
Locations
Bloomfield Main Street Parking Lot- Level 2

The electric vehicle charger is in the Bloomfield Main Street parking lot near the corner of Main Street and Corey Street.
One charging head is available at this location.
King Street Parking Lot (Picton) –
Level 3 DC Fast Chargers-
55 King Street
Two Level 3 DCFC electric vehicle chargers are available in the King Street public parking lot, across from Benson Park.
Crystal Palace Parking Lot (Picton)– Level 2
375 Picton Main Street
The electric vehicle charger is in the Crystal Palace parking lot, which is just inside the Picton Fairgrounds near the corner of Main Street and Bay Street in Picton.
Two charging heads are available at this location.
Wellington and District Community Centre Parking Lot (Wellington)– Level 2
111 Belleville Street, Wellington
The electric vehicle charger is in the Wellington and District Community Centre parking lot, at the south side of the building, which is located on Belleville Street north of Wellington Main Street.
Two charging heads are available at this location.
How to Use the Chargers
The Level 2 and Level 3 DCFC municipal chargers are on the Flo network. Drivers are encouraged to download the Flo app for an easy charging experience; however, the app is not required to use the station.
- Detailed instructions for using the chargers can be found on the Flo website.
- The cost to charge using Level 2 chargers is $2.50 per hour, which can be paid through the app or by credit card.
- The cost to charge using Level 3 DCFC chargers is $20.00 per hour, which can be paid through the app or by credit card
- There is a four-hour limit at all municipal charging stations.
- Vehicles may only park in the EV charger parking spaces when they are actively charging, and for no more than four hours. Vehicles that are not actively charging or that are parked for more than four hours may be fined $125.

The County of Prince Edward’s Level 2 chargers are a Charged for Change EV Infrastructure Project funded by Aviva Canada via Earth Day Canada under the Charged for Change Program.
The Level 3 DCFC chargers were partially funded by Natural Resources Canada under the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP).
