H.J. McFarland Memorial Home will safely expand visitor access to the long-term care facility in order to support the emotional well-being of residents.
As of July 22, two family members or friends will be allowed to visit outdoors with a resident at one time for a maximum of 30 minutes. Previously, visits were limited to one friend or family member per resident at a time.
In addition, H.J. McFarland Memorial Home will begin allowing indoor visits, following the updated guidelines from the Province of Ontario. A resident is allowed up to two family members or friends at a time during indoor visits for a maximum of 30 minutes.
If you want to visit please call the home at 613.476.2138 a minimum of 48 hours in advance and leave a message at extension 134 to request a visit. You can also email the Recreation & Volunteer Services Supervisor at firstname.lastname@example.org. Scheduling will allow for continued activity programing and to meet staffing requirements.
